The Department of Athletics has several scholarships to which donors can give money. These endowed scholarships are available to student-athletes and only grow through the generosity of AU donors.

Michael Trilling Memorial Scholarship: a two-year scholarship awarded to a graduate student. The recipient is required to work in the Department of Athletics and Recreation in the athletic communications office during the first year of his or her award. During the second year of the award, the recipient is to be placed in an entry level position with the sports department of a local publication. If placement is not possible, the recipient is to continue to work in the Department of Athletics and Recreation in athletic communications.

Sam Albert Endowed Scholarship: awarded to an undergraduate sophomore enrolled in CAS with a 3.5 cumulative grade point average. Preference will be given to a student who has lettered in a varsity sport.

Joseph A. Britton Memorial Scholarship: awarded to an undergraduate for academic and athletic excellence.

David L. Carrasco Scholarship: awarded to an undergraduate basketball student-athlete (male or female) who demonstrates financial need and academic and athletic commitment.

Ronald Francis Crown Scholarship: awarded to an undergraduate student-athletes with 3.0 cumulative grade point averages who have lettered in at least one sport. Preference will be given to student-athletes majoring in the sciences.

Eagle Athletic Endowed Scholarships: no restrictions.
